The 1928 Bremer Tully is finished, and is just incredible !
Philco 37-650 getting closer
It's now June and I have been so knee-deep in projects
it's been impossible to get back to the radios. For the last
3 months I've been restoring my Honda motorcycle for
the upcomming summer months. The honda is 28 years
old this year and I may keep her a few more years. Since
so much work has gone into the old girl I decided to give
the Honda a page of it's own.

Old radio restoration is a great hobby and very addictive. It is always
a non stop learning experience between the electrical side, the wood
working side, and the great history lesson that comes with each radio.
Since I restore these radios purely for fun, I can take all the time I
want for the restorations. A special thank you here to my wife, as
she forgives me for the amount of time I spend at the bench.
On my site you will find hundreds of pictures of my radios and related
components that have been restored. The current project on the bench
is the 1937 Philco 37-650X which is now about 90% complete. Most all
of my restoration work is performed with hand tools only. I try not using
power tools in my restorations. I will admit this is much more time
consuming, but I believe they turn out better.
You get more "attention to detail" when it's all done by hand.
